Kaz’O’zah Art had the privilege of hosting six members of a US Congressional Delegation that visited Burundi on April 3rd 2015. The US congressmen and congresswomen came with their spouses and team members and were briefed about the work we do at Kaz’O’zah Art. Our founder and Executive Director, Ange Muyubira, introduced the delegation to our artisans, described the different products we create, and explained the social impact Kaz’O’zah Art has made on our artisans’ lives. The delegation took the time to look, touch, and ask questions about our items as they watched our artisans work. They were very impressed with the artisans’ hard work and dedication, as well as with the beauty of our products. In fact, after their tour, our guests rushed into the store to purchase gifts to take home with them. We received very nice compliments from the delegation; some were amazed by the creativity at Kaz’O’zah and others preached the ingenuity of our items. As they were leaving, Kaz’O’zah Art gave pen holders as a gift to each one of our guests as a sign of our appreciation for their visit.
