Bernard has been working with Kaz'O'zah Art for very long - he joined the team in June 2013, and has shown himself to be a rising star in the organization, after being introduced to Kaz'O'zah by a team member in the Leather Work department.
Working as a tailor in the Sewing department, Bernard first started at Kaz'O'zah as a part time contractor, helping to fill in some of the large orders that often come in for uniforms or graduation outfits. Bernard however showed himself to be incredibly motivated, and at Kaz'O'zah we always like to reward and promote motivated people. Bernard quickly became a full time tailor and is now putting his skills to use cutting patterns and making some of the more complex Kaz'O'zah designs.
Bernard is a very hardworking humble person who enjoys his work. He said "I am happy to get an opportunity to work in a social enterprise. I value the good relationships that everyone has here."
Prior to joining Kaz'O'zah, Bernard had part time work here and there, however he appreciates the more stable work he is getting as an employee of Kaz'O'zah Art. "I am earning more money. One of my children is now attending school."
Bernard is married with three children, and is excited for their future now he has a full time position.
In the future, Bernard would like to learn more skills, particularly wood work and masonry. He also hopes one day to learn how to drive. If all goes to plan, Bernard would like to buy his own house, for his wife and children.
At Kaz'O'zah Art we value the incredible contribution made to our work by motivated people like Bernard. That is why we like to shine a spotlight on them, their work and their future aspirations.
